1. RATAN TATA
The Tata Trust Chairman Ratan Tata has donated Rs. 500 crores to the PM CARES FUND to fight the Corona virus pandemic situation and became the top trend on twitter.
He said “ the COVID-19 Crisis is one of the toughest challenges we will face as a race .The Tata Trust and The Tata Group of Companies have in the past risen to the needs of the nation. At this moment, the need of the hour is greater than any other time . This is the biggest donation made by an indian so far.
2. AZIM PREMJI
Now Azim Premji Foundation of Wipro donated Rs. 1125 crores to the PM CARES FUND to deal to fight with COVID-19.
The Azim Premji Foundation is giving Rs. 1000 crores, Wipro’s commitment is Rs. 100 crores and Wipro enterprises is giving Rs. 25 crores. These donation will dedicated for healthcare facilities and humanitarian aid also containing the Corona virus and treating the affected ones.
3. MUKESH AMBANI
The Reliance Chairman Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani Contributed Rs. 500 crores to the government of Maharashtra and Gujarat to support their fight against corona virus pandemic situation. As we all know Mukesh Ambani already built the country’s first COVID-19 hospital and giving fuel to emergency vehicles carrying patients. The Ambani’s helping people by manufacturing of 1 lakh protective face masks per day and giving 50 lakh free meals to the needy through non- government organisation.
4. PUBLIC SECTOR OIL COMPANIES
Public sector oil companies donated over Rs. 1031 crores to the PM CARES FUND. (ONGC Rs. 300 crores, IOC Rs. 225 crores, BPCL Rs. 175 crores and HPCL Rs. 120 crores) Indian oil contributed Rs. 225 crores to PM CARES Fund and the employees of the company are also contributing two days of their salary towards the fund .
Petronet LNG Ltd said “ While ensuring a seamless supply of LNG to India ,the company stands with the nation and has also contributed Rs. 1.53 crores to various health institutions for procuring personal protective equipment for health care workers at Bharuch in Gujarat and Kochi in Kerala.
5. PAYTM
Paytm the Online Digital Payment platform crossed to donation of Rs.100 crores to the PM CARES FUND for Covid-19 Crisis and said “ In a little over 10 days , contributions have crossed Rs. 100 croreson the paytm app and the initiative is still going strong”. The company said it’s employees have also come together and contributed their salaries for the fund . Over almost 1200 employees have contributed almost their 3 months salary for this noble cause.
The Senior Vice President of Paytm said every citizen in the country needs to come together to fight this global pandemic. “we urge fellow Indians to contribute whole heartedly for this cause, we hope our humble contribution to this great cause helps us come out stronger as nation.
6. ADANI FOUNDATION
continuously evaluating the situation and l can earnestly say that the JSW Group is committed to assisting the government in all ways possible to deal with all COVID-19 related fallouts”.
Gautam Adani has committed to give Rs. 100 crores to PM CARES Fund and another 4 crores donated by Adani Foundations employees. JSW group chairman SajjanJindal says “ We are foreseeing times which would divide human history into two eras the world before the covid-19 outbreak and one that survived it . Despite decisive global actions translation into a disciplined lockdown of nations , the pandemic continues to challenge human well- being”.
7. ITC
ITC has given Rs.100 crores to the PM CARES FUND to fight against CORONA VIRUS. Also ITC given groceries and medical equipments and others to 17 states.ITC LTD donated Rs. 100 crores to PM CARES Fund and Rs. 50 crores for other facilities. They provide foods to the needy and mask and sanitizer for doctors.
8. JSW GROUP
JSW declares RS. 100 crores contribution to PM CARES Fund for facilities into isolation wards. Company said “ Each employees of the JSW Group has committed a minimum of a single day’s salary as a donation to the PM CARES Fund. May employees are voluntary offering more than this as a contribution.
JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal says “ we are continuously evaluating the situation and I can earnestly say that the JSW Group is committed to assisting the government in all ways possible to deal with all COVID-19 related fallouts.
9. VENDATA LIMITED
Vendata Ltd has donated Rs.101 crores to the Prime minister’s citizen assistance and relief in emergency situation (PM CARES) Fund. The money will corpus catering to three specific areas livelihood of the daily wage workers across the nation, preventive health care, support to all its employees and partners across its plant location…
10. AKSHAY KUMAR
Actor Akshay Kumar contributed Rs.25 crores to PM CARES Fund. He tweets on 28 March
