Apple New iPad Models Coming Early

In May, Apple is expected to release updated iPad Air versions along with new iPad models using the M3 CPU. There’s also growing excitement for the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) and possible discoveries on artificial intelligence.

New iPad models from Apple are anticipated to be released in early May, per rumors from Bloomberg News. The launch was postponed while Apple adjusted the device software; it was initially scheduled for late March or early April.

Reports:

Bloomberg reports, citing people with knowledge of the situation, that the upcoming iPad Pro models will come equipped with Apple’s state-of-the-art M3 CPU along with updated iterations of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil. With substantial performance and functionality improvements promised, this is the first big update to the iPad Pro series since 2018.

The report lists the iPad Air’s improvements, which include a bigger 12.9-inch screen and a new processor. The goal of these upgrades is to maintain Apple’s tablet lineup’s competitiveness in a market that is always changing.

Apple did not respond to questions from Reuters seeking comment, even after several attempts were made to contact the tech giant.

In the meantime, Apple made news earlier this week when it revealed the dates of its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), which will take place from June 10 to June 14. There has been much conjecture about what would be revealed at the event, there have been talks of an AI cooperation and significant updates to the iOS.

Apple lovers and industry observers are eagerly anticipating more updates from the tech giant as excitement builds for the upcoming WWDC and the debut of the latest iPad models. For some time now, Apple has been concentrating on creating generative AI technologies.

Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has frequently and candidly stated the company’s goals in this area. In order to strengthen its efforts in this field, the business recently purchased DarwinAI, a startup, and has been actively hiring for a variety of generative AI-related professions. These trends suggest that Apple will probably talk about AI for the first time at a future event.
But keep in mind that this is all conjecture, as Apple hasn’t released any formal declarations substantiating this.

Apart from these, it is expected that Apple will present the most recent iteration of macOS and iOS 18, as well as updates for watchOS and iPadOS 18.

Apple said in a press release that WWDC24 “will highlight the most recent developments in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS.” In keeping with its mission to support developers in improving their apps and games, Apple will provide developers with special access to Apple experts and insights into new tools, frameworks, and features at this event.

Furthermore, rumors have it that Apple is developing its own GenAI capabilities to be incorporated into the next generation of iPhone 16 models. Furthermore, significant modifications are anticipated for iOS 18, which is one of the biggest updates.
